This system of rack utilizes gravity to store pallets in high-density situation. Movable interlocking carts are nested at the front of the rack and are loaded one by one and pushed to the back of the rack. When picking, the carts are fed forward, bringing the next pallet into easy reach. Loading and unloading are done from the same side of rack, which decreases picking time and allows for greater selectivity. The carts are color-coded for easy and fast inventory.
