Bollards are a vertical physical barrier placed to protect expensive warehouse equipment from scratches and dents. These cylindrical posts can be permanent or portable – either bolted to the ground or attached to a base that can be transported to needed areas. Bollards are usually brightly colored, making them more visible.
Some bollards can be retracted into the ground when not in use or needed. This arrangement allows more freedom for the use of space in a warehouse.
